Join efforts and thinking with other designers will help you think through how you may adapt your practice, identify opportunities for interventions through the work or projects you focus on, and also put pressure on your organisation to prioritise this.

Sustainability is often viewed as an additional requirement or “another thing to do”. If we can forefront sustainability in our business from the beginning then it becomes part of the overall operation. How does that look for your, your business, or your clients?



The B-corp assessment is a great way to understand how and organisation can be designed in a way that benefits people and the planet, and provides specific guidances on how to do so (e.g. how to implement an environmental policy for your suppliers, managing waste in your facilities). This also ensures that environmental sustainability is considered alongside your social impact and purpose.
